Palm Springs - A light read of my wonder

  Palm Springs: Available on Netflix . Gist of the movie: So a guy gets stuck on a date 14.02.2020. He lives 14 th Feb over n over again. He never wakes up to 15 th Feb. Each morning is a new version of 14 th Feb 20. Now he, along with his girlfriend has come to his friend’s destination wedding at some resort, little far from the city. All the guests live the same day along with him. The wedding happens daily. The only difference being, only this guy knows that the day is being repeated. All the others live it like their 1 st ever  14 th Feb 20. With yet another accident, a girl from the wedding also gets stuck with him and unlike others, she too is now aware of the limbo. The story is about the struggle of coming out of the loop, on a very light note. My remind you of 50 First Dates. The difference being, there she lives the same day again and again and here, everyone does. The protagonist knows about the limbo, others don't.  With this, share with me answers to my w

Unbelievable

U N B E L I E V A B L E  Netflix, Limited Series.  Unbelievable is a limited series that shows a perfect serial rapist and how he never gets caught coz he carefully chooses his victims to be lonely or emotionally unstable ladies and later leaves the crime scene staged in a way that the episode when stated by the victims seems like a poorly cooked story for attention seeking.  This is not a review about the story or direction or sorts. I am sharing what broke my heart. The girl whose bubble is not burst by that rape but by her own people much after the rape happens! It broke my heart much more than the rape and the fact that he got away with the rape.  Rape is an unforgivable act. My personal belief is, between a man and his woman, be it her partner or son, the relationship should be so strong that even if 'he' commits a murder, he should be comfortable enough to come and confess to his lady. They should be together in each other’s every good and bad. Tripling Forever!

 So yesterday, some neighbours were going out on a post Diwali Saoji Party.  The gang had 4 brothers and 3 elder male members. And yet the sisters stayed home stating, "unko kahan Saoji le k jayenge" Just an hour before that, we  were sitting at a Saoji - mind you a proper Saoji. Dattoo Saoji to be specific. I had asked in the car,  should I come up. And they said, "off course. car me baith k kya karoge" We stayed there till our parcel got ready. I said, "Kaash! We knew a girl who could come with us to this Saoji". Their stance was, why do you need somebody. This is a nice place,  let's come here someday later. Yesterday, we had to bring in parcel home for some reasons. Food was already cooked at  home and we were told to have nonveg out in the garden for Diwali time. Saoji plan was made purely bcoz I wanted to have Saoji. Everyone else was completely okay with the Diwali specific heavy Indian food that we all hog on during this time. Honestly, I felt
